On May 6th, 55 members of the BLIA Mississauga subchapters gathered for an outdoor cleaning of the Temple grounds. Their dedication in caring of the environment and serving the Temple community worthy of praise. At the same time, the volunteers’ keen participation in the event reflects their strong sense of community and social responsibility.
The cleaning event was preceded by chanting led by Venerable Ru Xing, who is the subchapters Monastic advisor. Before sending everyone to their assigned cleaning teams, the Venerable reminded everyone that cleansing our hearts is equally important as cleaning our environment.
At the end of the cleaning, many attendees expressed satisfaction from bringing cleanness and beauty to the Temple ground. Their proactive participation embodied the significance of community service and environmental protection awareness.
