The Wonders of Oneness in Diversity

On August 5th, the Fo Guang Shan Temple of Toronto held a Bring and Share Event for BLIA members from Malaysia and Singapore. Venerable Chueh Fan, the Abbess of Fo Guang Shan Temple of Toronto, Mabel Lam, the president of BLIA Toronto Chapter, as well as Venerables, Vice Presidents were among the attendees.

Venerable Chueh Fan praised everyone for planning the event and the effort to prepare scrumptious Malaysian and Singaporean dishes. The event brings together members from Malaysia and Singapore to learn more about the temple and bring affinity and support for each other.  

Approximately 40 BLIA members and their families attended the event and enjoyed their hometown foods. They shared their connections with Fo Guang Shan and BLIA during the one-and-a-half-hour Bring and Share Event. Most attendees expressed their interest and looked forward to the next gathering.
