The Buddha's Light Centre Waterloo Welcomes the Year of Tiger
Welcoming the Year of Tiger, the Buddha's Light Centre Waterloo opened for the public on the first to the fifth day of Chinese New Year (Feb 1 - 5). Due to the coronavirus outbreak, the Buddha's Light Centre Waterloo has been temporarily closed for two years. To reopen the Centre for everyone to visit, pay homage to the Buddha, and offer the New Year’s first incense, Venerable RuXing along with the joint effort by BLIA Waterloo Subchapter president Grace Wang and members, spending a few days in preparation. Including clearing and decorating the indoor and outdoor areas, and shoveling snow in cold weather at minus 20 degrees Celsius.
